Shouning Ye Sheng Liu Cha (Shuang Ning Ye Sheng Liu Cha) is a delicate, high-mountain green tea grown in Shouning County (寿宁, pinyin: Shòuníng), a county in Ningde City, Fujian Province, China. It is renowned for its fresh, rich flavor and invigorating effect. The name "Ye Sheng" translates from Chinese as "wild," indicating that the tea is harvested exclusively from wild tea trees. "Liu Cha" translates as "green tea." Therefore, the tea's name can be translated as wild green tea from Shouning County.
Shouning Ye Sheng Liu Cha tea is characterized by hand-picking only the youngest and most tender leaves in early spring. Processing is minimal; the leaves are not crushed or sun-dried. This ensures maximum preservation of their beneficial properties and delicate flavor.
Dry leaf: fresh, rich aroma with notes of rye flour, Brazil nuts and wild herbs.
Washed Leaf: An enveloping aroma of roasted nuts, blackberries and sun-kissed fruits.
Infusion: light green, with a charming lime hue.
Taste: Rich, herbaceous and floral, with a velvety hint of Brazil nut. A light, pleasant bitterness, revealing itself with each infusion, flows into a fresh finish with notes of freshly cut grass.
When brewing, use water at a temperature of 70-80°C. Do not boil the water, otherwise the tea will lose its aroma and beneficial properties.
This tea has a powerful energy that relaxes the body, clears the mind, increases concentration, and boosts energy. It allows you to temporarily forget the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in an atmosphere of peace and harmony, enjoying the unique taste and aroma of wild, high-mountain Chinese green tea. It can be used to spend a pleasant tea time or to start your morning with a positive attitude.
