"Tong tian xiang dancong"
Translation: "single bushes 'aroma reaching the sky'"
Whale. 通天香单从, pinyin tōng tiān xiāng dāncōng
When brewed, the fragrance rises and spreads so high that the tea has been nicknamed "reaching the sky." The trees are 300 years old and grow at an altitude of 1,000 meters. The tea grows in a sheltered spot in a ravine near a lake. The tree is as tall as two people, slender and graceful. The trunk is spotted, the branches spread, and the crown resembles an umbrella.
According to legend, tea leaves were first sun-dried and then processed in a kiln. One day, a tea picker took shelter from the rain under a tree and covered her tea basket with a cloak. But the tea got wet and, surprisingly, became fragrant. So, despite the damp tea leaves, she decided to still brew it the traditional way. The result was a beautiful, fragrant variety that became known as "Zongsoojia" (hidden under a cloak). In the 20th century, it was renamed "Tongtianxiang" (fragrance reaching the sky). Southerners pronounce it something like "Tong tien xiang."
This dry tea consists of tightly rolled, gray-green leaves (the color of eel). The aroma is fresh, with hints of pollen, meadow, and ginger. The infusion is golden-yellow. The flavor is deep and pleasant, with a creamy consistency. A lingering, sweet aftertaste. The bottom (used leaves) is smooth, dark green, with a crimson edge.
На прогреве дыханием ощутим яркий, сладковатый аромат с медово-пряными нотками и нюансами жареного миндаля.
После первого пролива аромат чая усиливается, становиться глубоким, добавляется шлейф вяленых фруктов.
Вкус чая свежий, легкий и возвышенный. Во вкусе прослеживается приятная горчинка с оттенками фиалки, цитрусовая свежесть и медовые мотивы.
По мере увеличения проливов вкус меняется в сторону цитрусовых с легкой освежающей горчинкой.
Рекомендованная посуда для заваривания данного чая – чайник из исинской глины или гайвань объемом 150-200 мл. При соотношении 5 г сухого чайного листа, чай способен завариться 6 раз.
Настой прозрачный, светло-желтого цвета оставляет яркое кисло-сладкое послевкусие с приятной горчинкой, нюансами спелых фруктов и леденцов.
Тун Сян Дань Цун дарит приятное и чистое чайное состояния. В процессе чаепития он помогает расслабиться, прийти в равновесие и настроится на нужный лад. Мягко тонизирует, придает сил и уверенности.
Данный улун – чай высокого качества, с ярким запоминающимся ароматом и чистым вкусом. Он подойдет ценителям темных улунов среднего огня таких как, Да Хун Пао, Те Лохань, Шуйсянь и др.
