The refined aroma and pure flavor of this tea make it one of the most prized of all pu-erh teas. It is an environmentally friendly product from ancient trees. Its distinctive feature is the high-quality, exemplary large-leaf raw material, which gives the twisted leaves thick and elastic, and the tea buds large and fluffy. The tea has a lingering wild aroma (freshness of the mountains). The bouquet of the infusion has unusual nuances, reminiscent of an orchid with honeyed notes.
The raw material is harvested early in spring from trees in Menghai County. It undergoes rigorous selection and is processed exclusively using traditional methods. The twisted leaves are firm, hairy, and oily, ranging in color from light to dark green. The resulting infusion is oily and thick, with a rich, lingering aroma and a sweet aftertaste.
The factory follows traditional harvesting practices: local harvesting includes day-long sun drying. The tea leaves are harvested in areas untreated with chemical fertilizers and free from pollution.
The tea is handcrafted using traditional technology, a stone press, steam pressure, and high-temperature steam sterilization. This ensures the leaves are vibrant, their thick, silvery hairs are preserved, and the surface doesn't crumble. Figuratively speaking, the external characteristics match the internal ones.
The tea bottom is soft and dense, the color is fairly uniform, without dark leaves, and there are no signs of heat or moisture processing. The buds are sharp and firm. If you crush or twist a few leaves, they will naturally smooth out and regain their original appearance.
The tea's aroma is pure and rich. From the first sip, the flavor envelops the entire tongue. It's persistent, lasting until the end of the tea session, gradually transforming into a honeyed aroma that lingers on the palate and lips. It has a pronounced stimulating effect on the internal secretions, with a vibrant aftertaste appearing within 3 seconds. The tea infusion is light, clear, and pleasantly hued. It encourages you to brew more tea.

Pu-erh is one of the most unique types of tea, which only gets better with age. Many people, when they first encounter this tea, wondered: why is pu-erh more often found in pressed form (cakes, bricks, tochas), and not in loose form? The reasons for this are related to both history and the practical aspects of storing and fermenting tea. Despite modern technologies that allow the production of loose pu-erh, the shape of pressed cakes remains unchanged. And pu-erh is more often found on sale in pressed form, for example, in the form of cakes or bricks, and loose pu-erh is less common. We will talk about the reasons for pressing pu-erh into cakes in this article.
