Sheng puer " Bulan zaochun " (Chinese: 布朗早春, pinyin Bùlǎng zǎochūn) of the Menghai Yihao Chatsang Yuxian Zeren Gongsi plant (Chinese:勐海壹号茶仓有限责任公司, pinyin měnghǎi yīhào chácāng yǒuxiàn zérèn gōngsī, Russian “LLC Menghai Yihao Tea Factory”) is produced from selected large-leaf raw materials in an autonomous Dai region in 2017. The name of the tea "Bulan zaochun" says that the raw materials were collected in early spring in the Bulanshan Mountains (Chinese: 布朗山, pinyin bùlǎngshān), in the area of Menghai Urban County (Chinese: 勐海县, pinyin měnghǎi xiàn), Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture (Chinese: 西双版纳傣族自治州, pinyin xishuāngbǎnnà dǎizú zìzhìzhōu). The Yihao Tea Factory's packaging claims compliance with the GB/T22111-2008 Pu'er Tea Production Standard, which defines the parameters for the production of Pu'er tea (Chinese: 普洱茶, pinyin: pǔ'ěrchá), including the territory of Yunnan Province (Chinese: 云南省, pinyin: yúnnán shěng), where Pu'er tea can be grown. The cover features a peacock and elephants. Interestingly, Jinghong (Chinese: 景洪市, pinyin: jǐnghóng shì), the capital of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, is home to numerous elephant statues.
Bulan Zaochun Sheng Pu'er has a bright, sweet aroma with floral and honey notes, and a subtle flavor characteristic of young shengs, which can become astringent when brewed strongly. The cake contains fuzzy pu'er buds and large, full-bodied leaves, and the tea is pressed tightly and firmly.

Pu-erh is one of the most unique types of tea, which only gets better with age. Many people, when they first encounter this tea, wondered: why is pu-erh more often found in pressed form (cakes, bricks, tochas), and not in loose form? The reasons for this are related to both history and the practical aspects of storing and fermenting tea. Despite modern technologies that allow the production of loose pu-erh, the shape of pressed cakes remains unchanged. And pu-erh is more often found on sale in pressed form, for example, in the form of cakes or bricks, and loose pu-erh is less common. We will talk about the reasons for pressing pu-erh into cakes in this article.
