Liming Tea Factory has also been awarded the honorary title of "Advanced Enterprise in the Development of Tea Industry in Yunnan Province".
The symbol of the octagonal pagoda goes back to a beautiful legend. According to the legend, in ancient times, Buddha sent eight of his outstanding monk disciples to preach the scriptures everywhere. They traveled around the world and one day came to the top of Mengzhe Mountain in Xishuangbanna. At dawn, the entire mountain was covered in a sea of beautiful clouds. The monks were inspired by the beauty, silence and refreshing aroma of tea trees. With a clap of their hands, a pavilion appeared on a flat area surrounded by tea trees, under which a stream flowed, later turning into the Liusha River. They sat in the pavilion, drank fragrant tea, talked and laughed.
Liming Factory chose the "Octagonal Pavilion" as the brand name of Pu'er tea, first of all, because of its special geographical location - it is located in Xishuangbanna, the hometown of Pu'er tea. Secondly, these eight outstanding monks represent tea lovers from all over the world. People who create tea seem to build a bridge of friendship with people from all walks of life and corners of the world. With the help of high-quality and affordable Pu'er tea, the factory shares the best of what there is, the beauty of its area.
