Gande Tie Guan Yin Huaxiang (Chinese: 甘德鐵觀音花香, pinyin: Gān dé tiě guānyīn huāxiāng), originally from the county-level village of Gande in Fujian Province, China, is an oolong (turquoise tea) with a unique flavor and aroma, holding a special place among tea connoisseurs. The name "Huaxiang" translates as "Flower Fragrance," aptly reflecting its delicate and fragrant bouquet.
Peculiarities:
Fermentation level: Medium, between Qingxiang (light) and Nongxiang (roasted).
Aroma: Rich, floral, with notes of lilac, orchid, honey and fruit.
Taste: Sweet, honeyed, with fruity notes, buttery and multifaceted.
Appearance: The dried leaves are dark green, twisted into a crescent shape. The infusion is clear and light yellow.
Hand-picked in spring and autumn, it undergoes meticulous processing, including withering, rolling, roasting, and drying. The skill of Gande tea masters plays a key role in creating the unique flavor of Huaxiang.
