Jin Xuan (Chinese: 金萱, pinyin: jīn xuān), also known as "Golden Daylily" or "Milk Oolong," is one of the most famous tea varieties in the world. This unique tea was developed in 1980 in Taiwan and has since won the hearts of millions of tea lovers worldwide thanks to its unique taste and aroma.
The name Jin Xuan can also be translated as "Golden Flower" and refers to the delicate light-green leaves covered in a downy hair that gives them a golden hue. Legend has it that a celestial dragon once descended to earth and, with its breath, imbued the Jin Xuan tea bushes with a unique aroma.

Jin Xuan has a delicate, sweet taste with pronounced notes of milk, cream, vanilla, and honey. The tea's aroma is subtle, fruity, and floral. There are two main varieties of Jin Xuan: Spring (lighter and more delicate) and Autumn (richer and more aromatic).
How to brew:
- Water temperature: Use hot water (90-95°C).
- Brewing quantity: For 200 ml of water, take 8-10 grams of tea.
- Steeping time: Steep the tea for no more than 30 seconds.
- Re-brewing: Jin Xuan can be brewed multiple times.
- Dishes: Use porcelain or earthenware dishes.
