This brick of "Creativity" of Northern Fujian oolong tea "Dahongpao" (大红袍, dàhóngpáo) was produced by order of the company "Tea Line." The raw material for this brick of "Dahongpao" is classified as "Banshānchá" (半山茶, bànshānchá) ("semi-rock tea"), which refers to the region where the tea was grown—it was not picked in the gorges of the Wuyi Mountains (武夷山, wǔyíshān), but at the foot of the mountains.
Pressed Da Hong Pao "Creativity" from the Tea Line brand is a very convenient format - you can take the brick with you and, after brewing it easily, enjoy the taste of good tea and high-quality tea condition.
The aroma, when warmed by the breath, is warm, vibrant, and melodic, classic for a medium-fire Da Hong Pao oolong. Creamy caramel notes are discernible, interspersed with vibrant nuances of burnt caramel and freshly baked rye bread.
After washing, the aroma intensifies, revealing a subtle hint of baked milk and delicate floral notes.
The brewed tea has a soft, buttery, and balanced flavor. Notes of toffee, rye bread with a slight bitterness, and a pleasant floral-berry tartness are evident.
To brew, you'll need one square—10 grams of tea per 150-200 ml of boiling water. This tea will blossom beautifully in both a Yixing clay teapot and a gaiwan, holding up to six full steeps.
The aftertaste is fleeting, with nuances of bread crusts and burnt caramel.
The tea experience is pronounced; it "lights the fire" and warms, energizes, and lifts the mood. It clears the mind, inspires creativity, while simultaneously relaxing and freeing one from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.

This Chinese cliff tea is produced in the northwest of Fujian Province, in the Wuyi Mountains. It is classified as a strong fermentation oolong. Da Hong Pao (大红袍, Da Hong Pao, Big Red Robe, DHP, Da Hongpao) is one of the most famous Chinese tea varieties, along with such teas as Pu'er, Tie Guan Yin and Long Jing. But in terms of the number of legends and myths surrounding both the tea itself and its name, it is probably in first place. However, this does not mean that the closest to the truth story of the origin of the name of this tea has been lost.
The Wuyi Mountains, and shan, as is known, is translated as "mountain" or "mountains", are located on the border of the provinces of Fujian and Jiangxi. This is a mountain range located on an area of about 1000 square kilometers. The highest point is Mount Huanggangshan, 2158 meters high, which is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, both for cultural and natural criteria.
