Name: "Shui Xian"
Translation: "Narcissus" or "Lord of the Waters"
Chinese: 水仙, pinyin: shuǐ xiān
Origin: Wuyi Mountains (Chinese: 武夷山, pinyin wǔyíshān), Fujian Province (Chinese: 福建, pinyin fújiàn), China.
This oolong is made from a bush of the same name. Along with Zhougui, Shuixian occupies the main plantation areas in Wuyishan. The tea is interesting because it has high bush fertility characteristics, as well as excellent aroma and flavor properties, but its price is one and a half to two times lower than that of other famous cliff teas. Only Laocong Shuixian (from old bushes) reaches the high cost of Telohan and Shuijingui.
Appearance, aroma and taste
The leaves are longitudinally twisted and matte dark brown. Due to slightly less intense roasting than usual, our Shuixian has more floral tones in the bouquet of aroma. In the mouth, you can feel the density of the infusion and the characteristic spice.
