Name: “Xingren Xiang Dancun”
Translation: "single bushes 'almond aroma'"
Whale. 杏仁香单丛, pinyin xìngrén xiāng dāncóng
This tea is also called "Ju Duo Zi" (Chinese: 锯剁仔, pinyin: jù duò zǎi) because its leaves are small and sharp, like a small saw. The tea grows on Mount Fenghuang at an altitude of 1,100 meters in the Wudong area of Huchi Village. The tree is over 300 years old, stands 2.31 meters tall, and is propagated vegetatively. It is an upright, low-growing tree with medium-sized leaves, medium-sized buds, and a spreading, umbrella-like crown.
The tea has a beautiful color: when brewed, the leaves are straight, curled lengthwise, and dark (black-brown or yellow-brown) with an oily texture. The infusion is clear, a pale yellow hue. The producers say the tea has a distinct mountain note. The tea bottom consists of firm, emerald-colored leaves. The tea creates a light, serene mood and delights the soul.

The aroma of dry tea leaves contains fiery, floral, and muscatel notes. The aroma of dry tea in a heated teapot intensifies the muscatel undertone, while the flowers cover the bud before it bursts into full bloom.
It holds up to 9-10 steeps. The bouquet of the brewed tea is superb on the first steep; the flavor and aroma intertwine, making you want to explore this Guangdong tea more deeply. With the second steep, a sweet sherbet with a classic bitterness comes to the fore; the aroma is bright and floral, reminiscent of freshly picked hops. The aftertaste is juicy and tart, reminiscent of eucalyptus honey.
The most suitable utensils for this type of tea are a thick-walled gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay.
Xing Ren Xiang Dan Cong is a magnificent discovery for tea lovers. It combines all the beauty of oolongs from the dormant Phoenix volcano and the full power of Guangdong Province, the birthplace of the Chinese tea ceremony.
The effect of Xing Ren Xiang Dan Cong tea is meditative, it balances the emotional state and gives incredible energy.

In Guangdong Province, the southernmost and warmest province of China, in the counties of Chao'an, Shaoping, and Qiaoling, they make special Dan Cong (Single Bush) oolongs. The most famous of this group of oolongs is Feng Huang Dan Cong. It, like other varieties, is collected from a specific bush. As a result, each batch has its own unique characteristics.
