Characteristics of the variety: the base raw material for this red tea is the same as for “Dian Hong” (Chinese: 滇红, pinyin diān hóng).
Origin: Yunnan Province.
This variety is a Yunnan red tea from the earliest harvest, processed using the "dian hong gongfu" technology. Externally, it looks like leaves tightly twisted into spirals and balls with golden fuzzy buds. Dry tea smells like resinous cones. After washing, sweetness and florality appear. The color of the infusion is not reddish-brown, but amber and shiny (sometimes orange). The taste in its sweetness and nectar corresponds to the aroma of a wet leaf. It moisturizes the mouth and throat well, after drinking, a long thick honey aroma remains in the nose. It has a persistent aftertaste. The tea bottom (used tea) is smooth, soft, red.
