“Mi lan xiang hong cha”
Red Tea "Honey Orchid Aroma"
Chinese:蜜兰香红茶, pinyin mì lán xiāng hóngchá
Characteristics of the variety: it is a subspecies of the oolong tea “ Feng Huang Dan Cun ” (Russian: “single bushes from Mount Phoenix”, Chinese: 凤凰单丛, pinyin: fènghuáng dāncōng).
Origin: Mount Wudong (Chinese: 乌岽, pinyin: wūdōng), Chaozhou (潮州, cháozhōu), Guangdong (广东, guǎngdōng) Province.
This Guangdong red tea is made from the Mi Lan Xiang Dancong (single-bush "honey orchid scent" tea, Chinese: 蜜兰香单丛, pinyin: mì lán xiāng dāncóng) oolong. The tea is strong, tightly rolled, and uniform in appearance, with a brownish-yellow (tobacco) or eel-scale color. When moist, it becomes more oily and has red flecks. It has a bright, rich, honey-toned aroma that permeates the entire tea. The infusion is light yellow. The pleasant flavor profile has a distinctive mountain note and a strong, sweet aftertaste. It is resistant to steeping, leaving a lingering aroma on the palate and teeth after drinking. An excellent, refreshing and invigorating tea.

Upon first inhaling the dried leaf, you'll notice a rich, pure aroma of chocolate-coated prunes, tempered with dried fruit notes and a distinctive tartness. After rinsing, the tea leaves impart a calm, delicate aroma with notes of ripe dates and prunes, with a hint of candied mango.
The flavor of Milan Xiang Hong Cha red tea is rich, direct, and refined, with prominent notes of chocolate truffle, cocoa beans, and a hint of candied fruit acidity. As the brew is steeped, it gains density and a slight tartness against a backdrop of dark chocolate.
This tea can be steeped up to five times, using a ratio of 5 grams of tea per 150-200 ml in a gaiwan or clay teapot. The water temperature for brewing is 95-98°C. The infusion is a captivating cognac color with an amber sheen. Drinking the tea leaves a light, enveloping aftertaste with the tartness of dark chocolate.
Tea gently invigorates and gives strength, warms the inside, improves mood and brings joy to the heart, especially when enjoyed in the company of loved ones.
Milan Xiang Hong Cha red tea is an exclusive, high-quality product with an impressive, elegant taste. Recommended for lovers of red tea, especially Shui Hong, as well as shu pu-erh.
