Wild Old White Tea 2016: A Treasure from the Wild
Wild Old White Tea (Chinese: 荒野老白茶, pinyin: Huāngyě lǎo báichá) literally translates as "wild old white tea" - this is a truly unique and valuable type of tea. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that the raw materials for it are collected from wild tea trees growing in remote, hard-to-reach areas of Yunnan Province. The tea leaves for this cake were collected in 2016. The wild tea trees from which they were collected grow in harsh mountain conditions, which gives the tea special strength and energy.
