A long interview with a Chinese tea merchant.
As is known, the business that is now known as Tea Line, originated from the meeting of Andrey Vinogradov and Alexander Polyakov, young people passionate about the East, in the Krasnoyarsk Shaolin club, where we studied the Shaolin style of kung fu. Nine years later, Andrey happened to live for three weeks right next to the Shaolin monastery. In addition to combat and health practices, he managed to meet and become friends with a local tea merchant.
His name is Liu Chang, he has a tea shop not far from Shaolin and a second one in the nearest city with a population of over a million, Zhengzhou. We decided that this was a great opportunity to ask the Chinese tea guy the questions that we are often asked by customers in Russia. So that viewers of our channel could hear the answers to frequently asked questions first-hand. We may not agree with him on everything, but he should definitely be allowed to express his point of view, because he has been in the tea business his whole life and is not involved in production, but in the selection of tea.
And this is also the opinion of a Chinese from the middle of the country, it differs from the opinion of southerners and northerners, and therefore it is also interesting to listen to. The conversation for tea lovers turned out to be interesting, about the tea itself and, in the end, about Chinese life, which is now like a second brew - it blossoms and gives juices to its water, that is, the country and people.
