Exhibition of Chinese Tea
From May 26 to 28, there was a tea exhibition in Guangzhou. All the major self-respecting manufacturers prepared exhibition stands and communicated with buyers and colleagues. We have already been to such events more than once, and they look quite interesting. The thing is that they are held in different cities, sometimes even several times a year in the same city.
So, let's take some hypothetical Xia Guan factory. By the beginning of the year, it prepares a stand, shelves, a large beautiful wall with illuminated logo and slogan, plans the route: aha, we're going with the entire exposition first to Beijing, from Beijing to Shanghai, from Shanghai to Guangzhou, from Guangzhou to Hong Kong, from Hong Kong back to Guangzhou, etc. They appoint several responsible people and this entire propaganda team travels around the country from city to city not only for advertising purposes, but also to see how competitors have formed this year, who has what scale of space, how well-trained their staff is, etc. That is, such a get-together of large and medium-sized tea and utensil producers. Tea is grown in a good dozen provinces, it's hard to keep track of them all, but here you can show off to each other and at the same time find out how successful the harvest was this year at this or that factory.
So, let's begin. The exhibition consists of three floors of tea and utensils. The first floor contains the most expensive and famous brands. Everything there is shiny and beautifully decorated.
Tea exhibition.
Probably the healthiest stand is at Ta Yi. They sell thick illustrated books, made of expensive paper, 250 pages each, each of which presents you with the harvest of a particular year of this factory. This is cool, of course.
Some places offer tea tasting in disposable paper cups, while others offer it exclusively from gaiwans and porcelain bowls.
You know, we liked Tibetan tea. The puny inhabitants of the beautiful Himalayas put up about 3 stands. I think this tea is worthy of the "Tea Line", follow the news ;)
The guys probably meant Brother Friendship :) But they can, they are from the cradle of Buddhism, what difference does it make, everything is relative in this world..
Our great president inspires genuine love among the Chinese. I am serious. He is respected by both ordinary citizens and the leadership of the PRC. See how even this is manifested:
And this is already the second floor, everything is simpler:
Passing by are guys with rosaries and beads, including those made of rare wood. Tea is directly connected with religion. The Chinese know that tea opens the consciousness and clears the mind.
I also bought myself new rosary beads, very very tasty and smell strongly of wood. The guy says they will smell forever. If they start to smell less, just put them in a box or a bag and the beads will smell like before. Let's check..
And these guys create an atmosphere of entertainment. He's drinking tea, like a log.
I don't understand whether the comrade is angry or surprised :)
Tibetans, by the way, wrap their tea in animal intestines for storage.
And this is already the third floor and dishes.
